Demi Lovato's beau and fiancé Jutes recently shared how he proposed to the singer. During a candid appearance on The Viall Files podcast, Jordan Lutes recalled the emotional moment when he asked Lovato to marry him in 2023.
Taking a trip down memory lane, Jutes revealed that he prepared a song to propose to Lovato. He admitted that while he's not a skilled guitar player, he spent a week learning chords just for the song. "Rehearsing this song that ends in 'Will you marry me?' was really difficult," Jutes said. "I would mess up like three out of four times, so when it came time to do this, I just had to get lucky and nail it."
"I definitely almost broke down crying a few times,” he added.
To make sure the proposal was a surprise, he asked Lovato's team to distract her while he prepared. When the moment arrived, he felt confident that she would say yes, although he wanted to catch her off guard.
