Joker and Harley Quin suited up for this one. Actors Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga appeared on the red carpet in London on Wednesday night for the UK premiere of Joker: Folie A Deux.
The pair posed for pictures alongside the film's director Todd Philips and other cast members. The two even interacted with the crowd that had gathered outside the venue ahead of the film's premiere. Phoenix even surprised fans outside the cinema with tickets of the film.
For her red carpet appearance, Gaga gave a nod to her onscreen character Harley Quinn, and wore dramatic eye makeup that complimented her red outfit. Apart from starring in the film, Gaga is also gearing up for the release of Folie À Deux “companion album" which has music inspired by the film.
The album is set for release this Friday (September 27) a week before the movie opens in cinemas worldwide on October 4 - on the fifth anniversary of 2019’s Joker. Folie À Deux is a sequel of Joker.

In the sequel, Phoenix once again plays the titular Joker, while the likes of Steve Coogan, Catherine Keener, Brendan Gleeson and Zazie Beetz also feature.
Joker: Folie à Deux, which received its premiere in Venice earlier this month, has been referred to as a 'jukebox musical'.
Folie À Deux is final film in the Joker franchise
In an interview last month, filmmaker Todd Phillips suggested that Folie à Deux is likely to be the final film in the Joker franchise. “It was fun to play in this sort of sandbox for two movies, but I think we’ve said what we wanted to say in this world.”
