Divya Khossla Kumar recently slammed Alia Bhatt for inflating Jigra's box office numbers. In a social media post, she accused the producer-cum-actress of buying her film's tickets to fake collection numbers during the festive weekend.
Now, Karan Johar has seemingly bashed Divya by sharing a cryptic note on his official Instagram handle. For those unaware, KJo's Dharma Productions has bankrolled the project.
Karan Johar's cryptic post read, "Silence is the best speech you will ever give to fools." While he did not name Divya, however, netizens are convinced that the post is for her.
Sharing a picture of an empty cinema hall on her official Instagram handle, Divya said that actors should not "fool the audience". She even accused Alia of buying the film's tickets herself to inflate box office numbers.
Divya wrote, "Went to Citi Mall PVR for Jigra show. Theatre was totally empty … all theaters going empty every where."

"#Aliabhatt me sach mein Bahut #Jigra hai.. khud hi tickets karide aur fake collections announce kar diye. Wonder why paid media is silent. #weshdnotfooltheaudience #truthoverlies #HappyDussehra," she added.
The posts from the two come amid chatter around similarities between Divya's movie Savi and Jigra, since both films are about jailbreaks.
In Savi, Divya plays the role of a housewife who is trying to break her husband out of a prison in England. The husband, played by Harshvardhan Rane, is accused of murder.
Meanwhile, in Jigra, Alia's character tries to rescue her brother out of prison after he has been found in possession of drugs.
Directed by Vasan Bala, Jigra also stars Vedang Raina as Alia Bhatt's brother. The film has been co-produced by Alia under her banner Eternal Sunshine Productions and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
