Katy Perry, in a recent interview, said she will first celebrate her milestone birthday this year. "I am turning 40 this year at the end of October, so I might be celebrating that first," said the 39-year-old singer.
She added, "COVID happened and now I have a really large credit at a venue I’m going to use. I just can’t tell you more. It was literally like I was going to get married on February 27th of 2020 and then it all happened."
On being asked about her wedding dress, Katy said, "I was pregnant then, so it’s different. We’re going to rework the whole thing."

Katy and Orlando began dating in 2016 after meeting at the Golden Globes. They broke up the following year but reconciled in February 2018.
On February 14, 2019, a year after reuniting, the couple got engaged. They welcomed their daughter, Daisy Dove, on August 26, 2020.
