Cher arrives at Dolce & Gabbana exhibition with beau Alexander Edwards

Music icon Cher, 77, turned heads in Milan as she stepped out with boyfriend Alexander "AE" Edwards, 38, to attend the opening of the From the Heart to the Hands: Dolce & Gabbana exhibition at the Palazzo Reale on April 6.

Cher dazzled in a striking black-and-white statement coat, layered over what appeared to be a second, all-black coat. She paired this with black ripped pants, boots, and a hat, completing her look with her hair styled in loose waves. Edwards complemented her in a black coat, white shirt, and black pants.

The star-studded event included guests like Demi Moore, Lupita Nyong'o, and Naomi Campbell. The exhibition showcased the creative process of designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, highlighting their transformation of ideas into outfits worn by cultural icons like Cher.

Demi Moore wore a sheer silver mesh gown for the exhibition. Inside the gown, the 61-year-old sported black shorts and a bralette. For her footwear, she opted for black stilettoes.

Curated by Florence Müller and produced by IMG, the exhibition features "loans of important historic works of art by Italian old masters from major public collections, as well as responses to Dolce & Gabbana’s designs by contemporary artists," according to a press release.

Cher and Edwards also attended the third annual Equal Justice Now Awards in Los Angeles on April 1.
