King Charles is celebrating his 76th birthday, and wishes have been pouring in for the monarch from worldwide.

Charles turned 76 on Thursday (Nov. 14), and the first ones to wish the King were his son Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton.

Taking to Instagram handle, Kate and William shared a photo of the King from his recent trip to Samoa.

Sharing the picture, they wrote, ''Wishing a very Happy Birthday to His Majesty the King."

The official handle of the Royal Family also shared a new image of Charles. "Wishing His Majesty The King a very Happy Birthday today," the post read.

In the picture, the King is wearing a dark blue suit as he poses with one hand in his pocket and the other resting on the chair.

He will be opening two food redistribution hubs, which are part of his "Coronation Food Project", launched on his 75th birthday.

This year has been extremely challenging for the Royal family after the King and his daughter-in-law were diagnosed with cancer. In February, Charles paused royal duties after he was diagnosed with an undisclosed cancer. However, he returned to royal duties in April.

A day before his birthday, King Charles attended the London premiere of Gladiator 2. The 76-year-old monarch walked the red carpet at Leicester Square as he met the other stars of the film, including Paul Mescal.

Last week, the monarch joined the other Royal family members in the annual Remembrance Day ceremony.
