Monster star Cooper Koch has an adorable reason for wearing a piece of shining jewellery on his ring finger. Read on!
Cooper Koch isn't married but he isn't single too! The Monster actor has a boyfriend and he is madly in love with him. During a candid conversation on Sirius XM's Andy Cohen Live, the actor revealed why he wears a wedding ring despite not being married. And, it is the most adorable story ever!
After Andy Cohen asked him about the shiny piece of jewellery on his ring finger, Koch replied that during the Emmy Awards when his brother Payton had been nominated for Hulu's Only Murders In The Building, he was looking for some accessories to match his outfit.
"We were getting ready and I didn't have any jewellery on. And I was with my boyfriend and we went into my room and I was looking through my jewellery, and I had this ring that was my grandfather's, and I was like, 'Oh, I should just wear this ring,' and then we just like put it on my ring finger and it just kind of became this little like, I don't know the romantic, protective mechanism," Koch replied.
"I just wanted to like trip people out a little bit and see what they would say," Koch added.

Even though his boyfriend doesn't wear a promise or wedding ring on his left hand, the actor assured his fans that his partner is "very much committed" to him.
"We have talked about that, and we do need to get him a ring, but it's really more of just like a nice totem," he said with a huge smile on his face.
Koch plays Erik in Ryan Murphy's Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menéndez Story, which was released last month on Netflix. The show tells the real-life story of Erik and Lyle Menéndez (played by Nicholas Alexander Chavez) who killed their parents José and Mary Louse "Kitty" Menéndez in the early '90s.
