Telugu actor NT Ramaswamy was slapped by a woman in Hyderabad theatre over his antagonist role in Love Reddy, as per reports.
Telugu actor NT Ramaswamy was assaulted by a woman in a theatre in Hyderabad over a villainous character he portrayed in Love Reddy, which also starred Anjan Ramachendra and Shravani Reddy. The incident came to light when a video went viral online, showing the alleged assault.
The incident took place on Thursday (Oct 24) when Ramaswamy along with other cast members visited a local theatre to surprise fans who were watching the film. The clip shows Ramaswamy standing with his co-stars in the theatre when a woman suddenly approaches him and slaps him right across the face.
The woman is seen shouting, "Why did you trouble the lead couple?" To pacify the situation, the cast members and security intervened and tried to protect him from the angry woman, who was later escorted out of the premises.
