Apple also said that it was working to resolve the issue rapidly.

What can be done in such a scenario?

A report by The Verge on Wednesday (May 1) said that if iPhone users were facing the problem, they could check a couple of settings on their device.

The report said that users should make sure the ringtone and alerts volume slider under Settings > Sound & Haptics was turned up.

"It can be easy to accidentally turn down your alarm’s volume if you have Change with Buttons toggled on beneath that, so you might consider turning that off," the report said.

The report said that some TikTok users suggested turning off the “Attention Aware Features” toggle under Settings > Face ID & Passcode.

This setting lets users expand notifications with their screen locked, but could also immediately turn the alarm way down if users look at their screen while it’s going off.
