Jennifer Lopez celebrated her 55th birthday in the Bridgerton-themed party. And, did you know the pop star channelled her inner queen in an exquisite Victorian-era gown designed by Indian fashion designer Manish Malhotra?

Hosted in Hampton, USA, the unique theme of Jennifer's birthday party has become the talk of the internet. On Thursday, the Indian designer took to Instagram to share some details of the dreamy gown. 

Bollywood's favourite designer, Manish shared a picture of the pop star, who looked stunning in the corset gown with a voluminous skirt. In the caption, Malhotra shared the details and the hard work that went into the masterpiece worn by the icon. 

In the caption, Manish wrote, “An honor to Dress the Iconic @jlo for her Birthday with the fun The BRIDGETON Theme party .. Custom Couture .. Corset and the Victorian Skirt with Vintage Brocade.”

Sharing the details of the gown, the designer hailed the Indian craftsmanship as he shared that it took more than 3,490 hours to make JLo's special dress.

“Crafted by 40 artisans over 3,490 hours, the corset and Victorian skirt features a floral motif moulded by hand from sequins and over half a million crystals. Petal and ring-shaped metal sequins were especially treated to preserve their hue to craft this ensemble, a celebration of intricate artistry and Indian craftsmanship,” he wrote. 

Soon after Manish shared a post, his celebrity friends and followers were quick to react. Malhotra’s close friend and filmmaker Karan Johar wrote, “So so so proud @manishmalhotra05!!!!! This is beyond amazing (red heart emojis).”

In the comment section, Malaika Arora wrote, “This is awesome Manu,”

JLo's lavish Bridgerton-themed party was all things perfect. To bring the magic of Regency-era elegance, the party had everyone dressed in Victorian-era outfits, with horse-drawn carriages, and tempting delicacies. Earlier this week, the actress shared a video from her birthday night, and wrote, ''Dearest Gentle Reader… And a splendid evening was had by all.''

Before Jennifer, Manish had dressed many big personalities from the West. His most recent clients were The Kardashian sisters.
