Koffee With Karan Season 9 to return in 2025

Ace filmmaker Karan Johar plans to bring back his chat show Koffee With Karan next year with some new additions to the theme of the show. A fan favourite, Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan is usually all about Bollywood gossip, celebrity secrets and the behind-the-scenes fun that actors have together (off the film set and otherwise). 

With fresh new energy and vibe, Karan promises to bring back Koffee With Karan Season 9 in 2025. 

The last season, which was the eighth, was called by many puritans (who have been avid followers of the show) as being the most boring one. The season kickstarted with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. 

What will be new in Koffee With Karan Season 9?

Making the announcement, Karan Johar told film critic Sucharita Tyagi that they want to take a year off and will be back in 2025. He went on to reveal that he wants to be back with a new syntax considering that people called last year’s as the most “boring rapid fire”.

He said, “I was like, ‘why am I even doing this?’ You're not giving me questions. Should we just drop the rapid fire, and I will take the hamper because no one really deserves to win it. Now, I am like let's change the world of Koffee with Karan with the ninth season. And it will be back with all the fun and the chattiness.”

Guests at Koffee With Karan Season 8

Last year, Koffee With Karan Season 8 failed to create magic or any news at all. Apart from Ranveer and Deepika, some of the other guests were Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Sharmila Tagore, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, Rani Mukerji and Kajol, Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday, Janhvi Kapoor and Kushi Kapoor.
