In the show Suits, Wendell Pierce and Meghan Markle played the role of father and daughter duo.
Actor Wendell Pierce is recalling the great bond he had with his former Suits co-star Meghan Markle. Pierce, who played the role of Markle's on-screen father, recently shared the piece of advice that he gave to the Duchess of Sussex before she left acting and got married to Prince Harry.
During his interview with E! News, Pierce recalled the last day of Meghan on Suits set, and how they both sat together for their last talk.

Cherishing the special bond that he had with Markle, Pierce said, "I'm always reminded of the last day working with Meghan, which was the wedding scene, prior to her engagement to the Prince."
Recalling how he warned Meghan that her life was going to be a 'whirlwind' in the coming days, he told the publication, "I said, ‘Meghan, your life is going to be a whirlwind. You're going to be in this bubble.'"
He continued, "I just want you to remember that no matter what happens, you always have friends. And I hope you count me in that number."
Further, Pierce added that he was ''grateful that I was able to express that to her before the engagement and wedding and becoming the Duchess."

After Meghan got married to Harry and shifted back to the USA, the Wire star got the chance to meet her again. Recalling seeing her with Harry, the actor said, "We were at a public function together, and she was receiving an award. It was great to see them because there's this public persona, and then it's the two that I know."
Before Meghan left the show after season 7, her character Rachel married Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams). Soon after her exit from the show, the British royal family announced Meghan and Harry's engagement. The couple got married in 2018.
After living the royal life for almost two years, Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior members of the royal family in 2020. After which, they moved to the USA. They are currently living in Montecito, California with their two children, Archie and Lilibet.
