The first trailer for Mr and Mrs Mahi is out! Starring Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, the fourthcoming movie is the story of the couple and their unending love for cricket.

The 2-minute trailer take us into the lives of the couple Mahi and Mahima, who are different from each other, apart from one commonality i.e. cricket. Set in Jaipur, Rajasthan, the trailer starts with Mahi and Mahima meeting on a date and we soon see them getting married. Mahima is a doctor, and Mahi is a businessman. The couple is living a life full of happiness, romance and laughter together. Until, one day Mahi finds out that his wife is a good cricketer. While he may not be able to live his dream as a cricketer, he decides to coach his wife and pushes her to pursue her talent and passion.

Set in the tone of "Dekha Tenu Pehli Pehli Baar Ve" from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, this one-of-a-kind love story is a full dose of entertainment. Janhvi and Rajkummar's performance in the short trailer is looking convincing as we see them cheering, screaming, and romancing.
Producer Karan Johar shared the trailer on his Instagram handle. "It’s MORE than just a story...it’s a journey of self-discovery, defying odds & hitting doubt out of the park when it comes to chasing YOUR dream with an imperfectly perfect partnership!❤️🏏," he wrote.
Rajkummar and Janhvi have worked together previously in the 2021 horror-comedy Roohi. The movie will be released in theatres on May 31.

On the work front, Janhvi and Rajkummar have a bunch of projects in their kitty. Rao's most recent release is Srikanth. The biographical drama is currently running in the cinemas. He's working on Stree 2 and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. Meanwhile, Janhvi's upcoming projects are Devara and Ulajh.
