Not just Lena Del Rey, but there have been many musicians and bands who were rejected by the bond makers, such as Radiohead's Man of War, Pulp, Blondie, Johnny Cage and KD Lang.
In a fun and easy way, singer Lena Del Rey has revealed that once she wrote a title track for one of the James Bond films. But unfortunately, her song was not able to make it to the final movie.
Rey, a renowned singer, made a big revelation at the Ivor Novello Awards in London, where she was honoured with a special award for her immense contribution to the cinema.
Interacting at the backstage, the singer was asked if she would ever consider writing a song for a James Bond movie. Replying to this, as per BBC, she said, “I mean, how has that not happened yet?”
Rey went on to sing a chorus of her song ''24'' from her 2015 album, Honeymoon, which she wrote for the 007 movie. “I wrote that for them,” the singer said.
