Britney Spears hotel drama: Singer blames mother for 'setting her up'

It was a wild night for Britney Spears as the singer looked disoriented and visibly shaken, leaving the premises of a posh hotel in Los Angeles in what is reported to be an ugly fight between her and her boyfriend. After a verbal argument that supposedly became physical, Britney Spears was photographed leaving the hotel in a jiffy, holding onto a pillow, with minimal clothes and a blanket thrown over her. 

The hotel drama started an online thread on the status of her mental health and if she was back to the old days of partying, drug abuse and mental health breakdowns when she would indulge in the most bizarre things. 

Britney accuses her mom of creating drama 

Britney, however, rebuked all claims and said that she was completely fine and feeling stronger than ever. She posted several times on Instagram, first to call it all “fake news”. She then also posted on Instagram blaming her mother for escalating all that drama. In a post, she wrote about not talking to her mother for 6 months and her suddenly reaching out to her after this hotel drama episode. 

She wrote, “I know my mom was involved !!! I haven’t talked to her in 6 months and she called right after it happened before the news was out !!! I was set up just like she did way back when !!!

She wished she had her grandparents around and said, “I can’t stand her !!! I honestly don’t care I will say it,” referring to her mother. This accompanied a video of her legs and ankle, apparently showing the world that she twisted the ankle because of which the paramedics were called and not because she was acting crazy as many news reports claimed. 

What happened with Britney Spears

The said episode occurred at the Chateau Marmont, a famous celebrity hotel. There were apparently reports of Britney and her boyfriend indulging in a crazy night full of fights, shouting, partying and whatnot. 

As per Britney, however, her mother escalated it, and there wasn’t much drama about what was being reported.
