Deadpool & Wolverine is breaking the box office records! One of the most anticipated movies of the year, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman's film was released in the theatres on July 26, and as expected, it is earning moolah at the theatres.

On Thursday, Ryan and Jackman’s movie made a massive $38.5 million from the previews at the box office in the domestic market. With the Thursday haul. This is the highest gross ever for an R-rated movie in the preview collection. 

From the Thursday collection, the movie has easily surpassed Disney and Pixar’s animated family movie Inside Out 2, which earned $13 million last month. 

The first Deadpool film earned $12.7 million from Thursday night previews in 2016. However, its sequel earned $18.6 million in 2018.

As per the estimates, the MCU film is expected to gross $160 million to $170 million on the opening day domestically. The movie has also been released in major international markets, including China. 

The film is expected to earn $350 million to $390 million globally in the first weekend.

How did Deadpool & Wolverine perform in India?

In India, Deadpool & Wolverine earned Rs 21.5 crore on the first day of release. As per Sacnilk, the film collected ₹11.7 crore in English, ₹ 7.5 crore in Hindi, ₹1.2 crore in Telugu, and ₹1.1 crore in Tamil.
