No, you got it wrong! Johnny Depp's lawyer never dated him: 'Not my type'

Johnny Depp and his lawyer Camille Vasquez were presumed to have been dating by internet fans as she defended him in his trial against former wife Amber Heard.

We might have tried hard to make it work but alas it wasn’t true. Johnny Depp and his famous lawyer friend Camille Vasquez never dated. In a recent interview, Camille denied all dating rumours and said that she was never romantically involved with the Pirates of the Caribbean actor. 

In an interview with Extra, Camille said that all rumours of her romance with Johnny Depp were false and baseless. She told the outlet, “I would never,” when asked about dating Johnny.

Why Camille would never date Johnny Depp

She added, “Let me just go on the record here. Never dated Johnny Depp. Never would date Johnny Depp. I think he's a lovely person…”

As to why she never thought of him like that, she said, “He's not my type."

Camille Vasquez spent four years working on Johnny Depp’s case against former wife Amber Heard. When she met with him, she realised that they were very different. 

“I remember maybe after 30 [or] 40 minutes of speaking with him, I remember having an out-of-body experience and looking at him and thinking, ‘He views the world so differently than I do.’ Like, he definitely uses a different part of his brain, he’s such an artist,” Camille said. 

Camille also revealed that she hasn’t seen a single Pirates of the Caribbean film of the actor, She said, not “to this day” and said maybe she has only seen “Chocolat?”

Camille never liked the "linkup" rumours

Previously, Camille was “disappointed” to learn of speculation surrounding her relationship with Johnny Depp. She told the outlet, “It’s also an unethical charge being made. It’s sexist. It’s unfortunate and it’s disappointing, but at the same time, it kind of comes with the territory. I can’t say I was all that surprised.”

Johnny Depp’s trial vs Amber Heard began on April 11, 2022 and concluded on May 27, 2022.
