Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures are yet to make the official announcement about the film.
The news comes days after reports stated that Holland will be working with Christopher Nolan in a new film. The film is reportedly a vampire movie and will also star Matt Damon.
"Zendaya and I sat down and read it together and we at times were like bouncing around the living room. Like this is a real movie worthy of the fans’ respect, but there (are) a few things we need to figure out before we can get that really going. But it’s exciting, and I’m really, really excited about it. We’re trying to get it going as soon as possible. Things are looking great, but there’s still a lot of moving pieces that need to come together for us to hit the ground running,” Holland had earlier shared about the Marvel script.
Holland met his girlfriend Zendaya while working on Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016 and were friends for years before dating rumours began.
Tom Holland was last seen in the Apple TV Plus miniseries, The Crowded Room in 2023.
