Many Indian celebrities marked the day by sharing pictures and videos of themselves performing yoga, seemingly encouraging their millions of fans and followers to incorporate yoga into their day-to-day lives for healthy living.
Today, June 21, the entire world is celebrating International Yoga Day. The ancient practice from India has transcended geographical boundaries, and now millions of people worldwide practice it. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the International Day of Yoga with the theme “Yoga for Self and Society.”

Malaika Arora, a huge fitness freak, has been performing yoga for many years. Marking the day, the actress shared a gratitude post dedicated to yoga. Sharing the clip, she wrote, ''Gratitude post 🙏….. #internationalyogaday🧘♀️.''
Shilpa Shetty, another fitness enthusiast diva of the tinsel town, is 49 years old and has defied age by maintaining a fit physique and toned body. Shetty, who often shares fun-filled workout videos, has posted a video encouraging her followers to adopt the ancient practice.
She wrote in the caption, ''Every emotion is connected with the breath. If you change the breath and its rhythm with awareness, you can change the emotion 🧘♀️.''
Actress Rakul Preet delighted her fans by sharing photos with her husband Jackky Bhagnani showing them performing asanas.
