Story highlights

Emily in Paris: Chamère was first introduced in an episode as a Kir Royale to Emily on the Netflix show  Emily in Paris which she then pitches to Camille’s parents – who decide that it’s the ideal compliment to their line of Champére champagne.

If you thought Emily in Paris effect was limited to fashion then you’re wrong. Now, the Netflix show has inspired a new line of cocktails and it is being called Chamère much like what was shown on the Lily Collins show.

The Quintessential Brands Group and Paramount Consumer Products have teamed up to release Chamère, a new, ready-to-drink Kir Royale inspired by the iconic French cocktail seen on the show. The new drink will be a mix of crème de cassis, blackcurrant and sparkling wine from France.

The canned cocktail became a thing on the Netflix show when Emily pitches the idea to Camille’s parents who have their own vineyard and a champagne line, Champére. The cocktail was introduced to Emily by her colleague Luc who called it the best thing to sip on while enjoying your time and lazing.

Emily then pitched the idea to mix Chamère with Champére and it worked out brilliantly for her marketing firm.

Fiction to real

The new cocktail combines French sparkling wine with natural cassis flavour to create an easy-to-sip, anytime cocktail that’s great for brunch dates and aperitifs alike.

The sparkling drink is sweet and fruity with a touch of tartness.

Chamère is now available in 250ml cans.
