After Ellen DeGeneres, now another A-lister Hollywood couple is contemplating living in the US.
Nicole Kidman and her husband Keith Urban are reportedly considering leaving the US. The first thought that comes to mind when hearing a Hollywood celebrity shifting base out of the US is that the decision comes after Donald Trump’s win at the recently held presidential elections, however, this has nothing to do with the same.
The Australian actress is reportedly facing a burnout. She has a “burnout” due to work-related tours and emotional strain caused by the loss of close family members.
Reports suggest that Nicole has had a terrible year as she lost her mother Janelle in September. The actress returned to Sydney for the funeral and now wants to be closer to home for some time.
Sources close to the family suggest that she wants to take a break. Earlier, it was reported that the losses have complicated things for Nicole who is often waking up in the middle of the night gasping and weeping. Her husband Keith also wants to support Nicole and has decided to step back from touring. He is focusing on supporting his wife as they navigate these difficult times.
Nicole Kidman is contemplating returning to Australia on a permanent basis. A source told Woman's Day magazine that Nicole and Keith “have had their worst year ever. They've barely spent any time together, and she's faced some of her most distressing moments alone." The source added, "The big concern is how much more she can endure."
Also, Nicole has been busy in the past few years so the workload has gotten to her. The source added, "She’s been through so much, and she seems to be dealing with her grief by throwing herself into work. There are times when she sleeps on a plane more than a bed. Everyone's worried about her.”
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban own a 20-room mansion in Nashville worth $4.89 million, a home in Beverly Hills, and a designer duplex in Chelsea, New York. In addition, they also own a farmhouse in Australia and two penthouses in Sydney.
