'Parineeta' completes 15 years, Vidya Balan, Sanjay Dutt go down the memory lane

Pradeep Sarkar's 'Parineeta' completed 15 years on Thursday.  The film which marked Vidya Balan's Bollywood debut also starred Saif Ali Khan and Sanjay Dutt and was produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra.

Both Vidya Balan and Sanjay Dutt shared glimpses of the film on Instagram on Thursday.

Balan, who catapulted to stardom with the success of the film, thanked fans for loving her work and shared behind the scene stills from the film's set.

"Like Lolita was Shekhar’s better half even before the world knew it, you were mine too ... but on the 10th June 2005,i became your Parineeta.

And to all those who have made sure this marriage survives and thrives.,Tahe Dil Se Shukriya! #15YearsOfParineeta,"  wrote Vidya and added that how her husband Siddharth Roy Kapur also started his journey as a producer in this film. "Thank you for the working still my friend @pavitrsaith P.S:Incidentally Parineeta was also the first film my #Shekhar  , #SiddharthRoyKapur worked on after joining #UTV ...his first film too," added Balan.

Sanjay Dutt, who delivered a memorable performance in the film also shared glimpses of the film on Instagram. The actor had played the character of 'Girish' in the film and had a powerful presence in the film.
