Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal leave for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War shoot

Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal were seen at Mumbai airport on Monday morning (Oct. 28). They were leaving to begin the filming of their upcoming movie Love and War, which will be released in 2026. Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is making this romantic film, which also stars Alia Bhatt, however, she was not seen at the airport.

The paparazzi were present at the airport to take videos and photos of the two actors as they were leaving for their scheduled shoot. Vicky has grown a moustache for his role in the movie. Netizens noticed this new look when he was celebrating Karwa Chauth with his wife Katrina and they also loved it. At the airport, he was wearing beige loose pants and a green shirt, while Ranbir was dressed in a blue jacket over a black t-shirt with loose track pants.  

Love and War 

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love and War is only the second film that he is working on both with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. Earlier, it was announced that Love and War will be released on Christmas 2025. The film's release date was recently postponed from Christmas 2025 to March 20, 2026. It was officially announced in January 2024.

The original announcement on Instagram read, “We Bring You Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Epic Saga ‘Love & War.’ See You At The Movies Christmas 2025.” The storyline of this film remains undisclosed so far. 

Alia Bhatt 

Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Gangubai Kathiawadi made Alia win the National Award for Best Actress for her performance in the film. She was last seen in Vasan Bala's Jigra, which struggled to make a mark at the box office.
