Cinema enthusiasts are now looking forward to Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's upcoming collaboration with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Love and War, which also stars Vicky Kaushal.
Alia Bhatt shared a post on social media calling out netizens who claimed that she got botox done which went wrong. The Jigra actor slammed these accusations and rebuked those who were spreading rumours about a part of her face being paralysed.
Many fans supported Bhatt, but some wondered if this post was written with such seriousness and potential impact to take away the attention from Jigra’s struggling impact at the box office.
The same night, Bhatt was seen going to her mother Soni Razdan’s house to celebrate her birthday with husband Ranbir Kapoor and the rest of the family.
A video circulating on social media captured a tense moment between Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and the paparazzi. The footage shows Ranbir becoming agitated when paparazzi blocked their path to their vehicle. While keeping his arm protectively around Alia, he confronted the photographers, asking "kya kar rahe ho aap log" (what are you doing?).
The situation appeared to be more stressful when Ranbir had to physically push past a photographer to access their car. On social media, fans defended Ranbir's actions, praising his relatively composed response despite the invasion of privacy. However, viewers also noted and questioned Alia's evident sadness.
On a Reddit thread, many fans are discussing how upset Alia seemed in the videos from last night. A user remarked, “The entire Jigra fiasco must have been extremely hard for her with how much we've criticized her. To be fair, the criticism was well-earned. They called her the next Bachchan. When you raise our expectations so extremely high and then fail to deliver of course the reaction will be equally extremely low.”
