The order specifically prohibited them from disclosing grand jury proceedings or any non-public case details that might impact the fairness of the trial.
After many lawsuits, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs had a small victory in court when the judge slammed a few federal agents who allegedly leaked information about an investigation involving Sean 'Diddy' Combs. According to reports, Combs, who was denied bail on two occasions, is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
Court’s slap to the federal agents came after the recent documents and photos shared by The New York Post, which showed ample evidence about Diddy’s freak-offs. According to the news outlet, one of the federal law enforcement officers described these freak-offs as “sick sh**” which led to the court issuing a gag order in response.
Manhattan Federal Judge Arun Subramanian implemented a gag order on Friday (Oct 25), directing federal prosecutors and officials connected to the case to maintain strict confidentiality. The order specifically prohibited them from disclosing grand jury proceedings or any non-public case details that might impact the fairness of the trial.
According to the New York Post, the order emphasises compliance with existing legal guidelines regarding such matters.

Subramanian wrote, “Those remarks if made by an agent involved in the investigation or prosecution of this case, are plainly improper.” The judge added, “To be clear, this order isn’t based on a finding that there has been any wrongdoing thus far, as the court has made no findings at this juncture relating to [Diddy’s] allegations that information related to the case has been leaked.”
He stated, “The point of this order is to help ensure that nothing happens from now on that would interfere with a fair trial. The Court will take appropriate action for any violation of the rules.”
Earlier in October, Diddy's lawyers requested a hearing regarding allegations that agents from the Department of Homeland Security leaked damaging footage from 2016, which reportedly shows Diddy assaulting his former girlfriend Cassie Ventura in a hotel hallway. The requested hearing seeks to stop federal officials from releasing additional case information to media outlets.
Despite everything, Diddy has maintained his innocence does not plead against all legal claims and is scheduled to stand trial on May 5, 2025.
