Stree 2 trailer released! Rajkummar Rao and his epic clan are back with laughter and horror

Finally! The trailer for Stree 2 is here and this time the horror has doubled up with an equal amount of fun.

The horror-comedy starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor is undoubtedly the most awaited horror comedy of the year, and after teasing eagerly waiting fans with thrilling posters and teasers, the makers have finally released the trailer, taking the audience back to the world of Stree. 

Apart from Rao and Shraddha, the epic clan comprising Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi and Abhishek Banerjee is also returning in the sequel.

In the trailer, set months after the events of the first film of the franchise, things in the town of Chanderi have changed a lot. Stree has now gone from the city and is now worshipped by the people. The clip starts with Rudra Bhaiya's voice-over hinting at the new threat, Sarkata, which will haunt the townspeople and kidnap women.

The epic clan of the town incuding Rajkummar, Abhishek, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurana are back to fight with the new villain and save the townspeople. This time, they are joined by Stree (Shraddha Kapoor), who with her superpower will fight with Sarkata. In the trailer, we also got a brief glimpse of Tamannaah Bhatia

Like Stree, the promising trailer gives you chills at one moment and horror at another. The VFX in the trailer is top-notch and will surely take the fun a notch higher.

Helmed by Amar Kaushik, the horror comedy will hit the big screens on August 15, the Independence Day. The film will clash with Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein and Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 at the box office.
