Tom Holland's Spider-Man 4 is set to release in July 2026

Tom Holland's last Spidey movie Spider-Man: No Way Home was released in 2021. The multi-verse film earned a staggering $1.916 billion at the global box office despite the coronavirus pandemic. 

Spider-Man will return to the theatres in 2026. After a lot of updates on the movie by the actor Tom Holland himself, the makers have finally announced the release date of the movie. 

On Friday (Oct 25), Sony announced that the next movie will be out in the theatres on July 24, 2026. Currently, the untitled movie will be helmed by Shang-Chi director Destin Daniel Cretton.

Spider-Man 4 will be released in 2026 summer, two months after the release of the much-awaited movie Avengers: Doomsday. Directed by the Russo brothers, the movie will mark Robert Downey Jr's return to the MCU world.

This release plan is very similar to 2019 when Holland's Spider-Man: Far From Home was released two months after Avengers: Endgame. Both the movies did outstanding business at the box office. 

However, Holland's last Spidey movie Spider-Man: No Way Home was released in 2021. The multi-verse film earned a staggering $1.916 billion at the global box office despite the coronavirus pandemic. 

Holland has been providing exciting updates on the movie. During his appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the actor revealed that the shooting of the film will begin next summer.

Speaking to the host, Holland said, "It's happening. Next summer, we start shooting, everything's good to go. We're nearly there. Super exciting. Yeah, I can't wait."

Before revealing the shooting plans, the actor shared that he had read a draft of the script, sharing that he thinks 'it needs work.''

During his interview on Rich Roll Podcast, Holland said, “One of the things is that, with Marvel, your film is a small cog in a large machine. That machine has got to keep running. You have to make sure you can fit into that timeline at the right time to benefit the bigger picture. That’s one of the challenges we’re facing.”

He added, ''The time in which we need to get that done is a tall order but definitely achievable with the people we have working on it now.”

Apart from the release date and shooting plans, there is no information available on the cast and plot details.
