The opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics was a starry night! On Friday (July 26), A-listers from around the world gathered in Paris to watch the starry ceremony of the Summer Olympics, a day before the actual games began where the world will witness athletes from around competing for medals across multiple sports.
The opening ceremony featured mind-blowing performances by Legendary singer Celine Dion, Lady Gaga and Aya Nakamura. However, the Olympic drag queens drew significant criticism across social media for their performance depicting Leonardo da Vinci's famous painting of the 'Last Supper'. Celine Dion
Celine Dion made a shining comeback at the Paris Olympics 2024. The legendary singer concluded the opening Summer Olympics with her performance at the Eiffel Tower. This was Dion's first performance in two years after her stiff person syndrome diagnosis.
Celine took the stage performing the rendition of Édith Piaf’s “Hymne à l’amour'' in the dazzling beaded gown adorned with rhinestones and tassels.

Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo promoted their upcoming movie Wicked at the Olympics opening ceremony. Grande and Erivo walk out channelling their Wicked characters.
The singer opted for a sleeveless pink ankle-length gown that was a perfect tribute to her character Glinda. Meanwhile, Erivo looked stunning in her character Elphaba’s signature green colour strapless dress. She added drama to her look with a huge cap.
