Former Indian captain Virat Kohli comes next with as many as 1,298 fours in the 50-over format. Kohli is far behind Master Blaster but will look to come close to his tally by the end of his career.

3) Virender Sehwag
Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag is third in the list for Indian batters with most fours in ODIs. During his illustrious career, Sehwag hit 1,132 fours.

4) Sourav Ganguly
Sourav Ganguly, under whom India reached the 2003 World Cup final, is fourth with 1,122 fours in ODI cricket. The swashbuckling left-hander ended with 11,363 runs in the format.

5) Rohit Sharma
Current Indian captain Rohit Sharma is at the fifth spot, with as many as 1,006 fours in ODIs. Hitman is sure to add more to his tally before his ODI retirement.
