This year, Hollywood celebrities life was full of controversies. From Britney Spears' bombshell testimony to Bill Cosby walking out free after spending three years in prison over the sexual assault charge, here is a list of celebrities who have been in the news for the wrong reasons.
The comedian Bill Cosby, who built a name in the entertainment empire by playing a fatherly figure in his famous show 'Cosby Show' on NBC to the animated 'Fat Albert' series, walked free after spending three years in prison.
A US court overturned the comedian's conviction for drugging and sexually assaulting a woman 15 years ago, allowing his release from prison, in a blow to the #MeToo movement.
Cosby was convicted in 2018 of assaulting Andrea Constand at his Philadelphia mansion in 2004.

Marilyn Manson has been facing multiple allegations of sexual assault. Starting with actress Evan Rachel Wood, who shared details of alleged sexual abuse she experienced during her relationship with Manson earlier this year.
'Game of Thrones' actress Esmé Bianco and model Ashley Morgan Smithline accused the singer- whose real name is Brian Warner- of sexual assault.
Apart from sexual assault allegations, Manson has reportedly agreed to surrender to Los Angeles police on an arrest warrant for allegedly assaulting a videographer at a 2019 concert in New Hampshire.

American actor James Franco, who was facing sexual assault allegations by two former film students has settled the case and he along, with his associate, will pay $ 2.2 Million in a lawsuit settlement.
The lawsuit accused Franco, as well as Vince Jolivette and Jay Davis, of fraudulently running the Rabbit Bandini production companies and Studio 4 film school for their personal and financial benefits.
The two complainants- former students Sarah Tither-Kaplan and Toni Gaal, alleged claims of sexual harassment, exploitation, and coercion.

They continue to get embroiled in a bitter legal battle over custody of their kids. Pitt was awarded joint custody of his children whom he shares with ex-wife Jolie. While Pitt seems to be happy with the judgement, Jolie is reported "bitterly disappointed" with the outcome which wasn't in her favour, and later claimed that three of her children had hoped to testify against him in the ongoing custody battle.

Hollywood star Armie Hammer, who is best known for his performance in the 2017 film 'Call Me By Your Name', has been in the news for wrong reasons. Hammer's name become the trending topic after screengrabs of private chats allegedly from the actor's account got leaked on the internet. The handle which appears to have Hammer's name on it chats extensively talk about sex and cannibalism among other shocking and strange interests.

American model and TV personality Chrissy Teigen has been facing major backlash following her bullying scandal. Chrissy was accused of cyberbullying by reality stars Courtney Stodden, Farrah Abraham, Lindsay Lohan. This all started after Courtney Stodden alleged in a Daily Beast interview that the cookbook author used to send her DM on Twitter back in 2011 telling her to “kill” herself.
Following the backlash, the model has been dropped out from the Netflix series, 'Never Have I Ever' and recently stepped back from her safely brand.
