Hollywood star Tom Cruise made a spectacular entry at the Paris Olympics closing ceremony to pass the torch to Los Angeles for the next games in 2028. The Mission Impossible star rappelled down the roof of Stade de France roof and into the stadium as delighted spectators watched in awe. H.E.R. performed on guitar during Cruise's amazing entry. Dressed in a leather jacket and gloves, Cruise shook hands with the athletes.

He then took the Olympic flag from American gymnast Simone Biles and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass. Pinning the flag on his motorcycle, Cruise exits the stadium in style. In a pre-recorded film, he was then seen cruising through the streets of Paris and entering an aeroplane. Cruise then journeys to LA as the Mission Impossible soundtrack plays in the background. He then skydives off the plane and the flag is later handed over to four-time Olympic gold medallist sprinter Michael Johnson.

Towards the end of the video, Cruise is seen standing on the iconic Hollywood sign in LA redesigned with the five Olympic rings. We then see a beach where Red Hot Chili Peppers, Billie Eilish, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre put up a mini-concert.

Cruise, known for Mission Impossible and Top Gun franchise, performs some breathtaking stunts in his films. He scaled Dubai's Burj Khalifa and hung onto a plane as it took off for his MI films.

Cruise's presence at the closing ceremony was supposed to be a surprise. However, Paris was abuzz with rumours for days due to his several appearances during the last 15 days. The 62-year-old cheered on the US team in the swimming relay and also watched American gymnast Simone Biles in action.
