Former president Barack Obama and singer Bruce Springsteen made a pitch for democratic US election candidate Kamala Harris. Obama told voters at the rally in Pennsylvania, "It’s not just policies that are on the ballot, it’s who we are."
"Whether this election is making you feel excited or scared, or hopeful, or frustrated, or anything in between: do not sit back, put down your phone and vote," he added as per The Guardian report.
While speaking to the crowd in Pennsylvania, Barack Obama criticised Trump's campaign at Madison Square Garden rally and said, “We have to reject the kind of politics of division and hatred that we saw represented.”

He added, “If somebody does not respect you, if somebody does not see you as fellow citizens with equal claims to opportunity, to the pursuit of happiness, to the American dream, you should not vote for them.”
The statement came after the comedian opening for Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden made several racist jokes. Donald Trump is facing a lot of backlash for these jokes.
Following the support from former president Barack Obama, Kamala Harris conducted a rally in Michigan. She gave a clear message that the fight is for democracy and people's voices. She told the audience, "We are all here because we are fighting for democracy and for the right of people to be heard and seen."

During the rally, she made an unusual request and asked the audience to shout out their names. Many people on social media called it a "cringe" joke.
Democratic candidate and current Vice President Kamala Harris will make her final closing statement for the 2024 US elections in DC’s Ellipse on Tuesday. She is believed to give an optimistic message that focuses on moving forward. Standing in front of the White House, she is expected to call for a fresh start and will urge the voters to "turn the page", and leave the Trump era behind.
Around 20,000 people are expected to attend the National Mall event, a place where Trump earlier spoke before the January 6, 2021 attacks. Her location for the speech will act as a reminder of what is at stake between Trump and her, according to Harris team.
